go-authcrunch: Skill for Codex

.codex/skills/authorization-policy-acl/SKILL.md

authorization-policy-acl is a skill for Codex from greenpau/go-authcrunch. It costs 33 tokens per session (1,910 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A set of authorization access-control-list tools for defining custom user-claim fields, parsing them, applying policies, and testing authenticated requests end to end. An access-control list is a set of rules that determines who may use a resource.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for maintaining ACL field definitions, compiling matching conditions, integrating authorization policies, and testing signed-token or logged-in-user access flows.
Why use it?
It keeps claim definitions, policy checks, and authorization tests in defined boundaries, reducing inconsistent permission handling.

Skill for Codex

Written for Codex: agents/openai.yaml present.

This is greenpau/go-authcrunch's own configuration. It tells Codex how to work on go-authcrunch itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything go-authcrunch configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00033 $0.01910
Opus 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00764
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00007 $0.00382
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00191

Security

Grade A, and why

authorization-policy-acl scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Authorization Policy ACLs

Ownership and public APIs

Use cryptographic-signing to configure or change strict access-token profiles and cache admission before ACL evaluation. The optional PolicyConfig.AccessTokenProfile applies to incoming signed tokens and cannot be combined with direct OAuth. It does not replace ACLs, enrichment, external authorization or separately configured credential authenticators.

pkg/acl owns field definitions, condition compilation, matching and projection. pkg/authz owns policy configuration and gatekeeper construction; pkg/authz/validator supplies authenticated user claims and authoritative request metadata to every guardian. Provider authentication and portal transformations remain separate boundaries. The request-time enrichment contract owns the optional validator/gatekeeper hook that supplies detached custom claims before every guardian, including cached and authenticated-user decisions. The external authorization contract adds a required decision after all local checks, using the original authenticated identity. Custom ACL aliases do not assign roles, change headers, rewrite JWTs, or alter the user's normalized GetData() representation.

acl.FieldConfig has Name, Claim, and Type, with matching snake_case JSON/XML/YAML tags. Validate() has no mutation or IO. Names are case-sensitive ASCII identifiers: an initial letter or underscore, then letters, digits, underscores or hyphens, at most 128 characters. Standard fields, standard aliases, temporal/path-ACL internals, and conflicting matcher/shortcut keywords are reserved. Claim keys are nonempty literal top-level keys, with no control characters or surrounding whitespace. Dots, pipes, commas, spaces and URL punctuation are literal; there is no nested lookup, network access, or placeholder expansion.

Types are acl.FieldTypeString (string) and acl.FieldTypeStringList (string_list). There are no inferred types or implicit defaults.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
