Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00047 | $0.01386 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00019 | $0.00554 |

Grade A, and why
debugging scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 131 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Debugging
The Iron Law
NO FIX BEFORE THE CAUSE IS NAMED
A change that makes a symptom disappear without explaining it is a mask, not a fix: the defect stays and the evidence is gone. Naming the cause means saying which line produced the wrong value and why. "It passes now" is not a cause.
The law binds hardest where it feels most skippable — under a deadline, when the fix looks obvious, when someone hands you the patch to apply, and after two attempts have already failed.
Phase 1 — Reproduce
Run the failing thing yourself and read the whole output: the error text, the stack frames, the line numbers. A reported symptom is secondhand; the run is evidence.
Then narrow it. What makes it happen, what makes it stop, and what changed
recently (git log, git diff) on the code path it touches.
- Done when you have triggered the failure yourself and can state the exact command, the exact error, and whether it happens every time.
Not reproducible on demand → that is a finding, not a blocker. Open
references/intermittent-failures.md when identical runs disagree.
Phase 2 — Locate the origin
Where the error surfaces is rarely where the defect lives. Take the wrong value and walk backward — who passed it here, who computed it there — until you reach the code that first produced it from correct inputs. That producer is the origin.
Open and read the files along that path. A module you never opened has not been ruled out, and "that part is fine" is a claim about the past, not about this run.
Crossing a component boundary (service to service, CI to build to sign) blinds
the walk: instrument each boundary, run once, and read where the value stops
being right. Both techniques in full: references/finding-the-origin.md.
- Done when you can point at the line that produced the wrong value and say why it produced it.
Phase 3 — Test one hypothesis
Write it as one sentence: "X is the cause, because Y." Then make the smallest change that would tell you whether you are right.
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

debugging is a skill published in the GitHub repository GregoryHo/arcforge (8 stars, last pushed 12d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 47 tokens to every session and 1,386 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-07.
