Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00069 | $0.01030 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00028 | $0.00412 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00014 | $0.00206 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00007 | $0.00103 |
Grade A, and why
capture-activity-rpe scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 54 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Capture Activity RPE
Records the operator's perceived effort and subjective notes for the most recent synced activity.
Self-triggers on RPE-shaped replies while state/strava-pending-rpe.json is fresh. The skill's description is intentionally narrower than hermitd:channel-responder's so the harness picks it for these specific messages; any non-matching message exits silently and the normal channel-responder flow proceeds. Re-checks allowed_users itself.
Steps
-
Read
.hermit/state/strava-pending-rpe.json. If the file is absent: exit silently. Ifsynced_atis more than 24 hours ago: runrm .hermit/state/strava-pending-rpe.jsonand exit silently (reply window closed). -
Authorization. Read
.hermit/config.json→channels.<channel>.allowed_usersfor the inbound channel (extract the channel name from the inbound message metadata):- If
allowed_usersexists and the sender's platform user ID is not in it: exit silently. No response, no log, no state write. - If
allowed_usersis absent: accept (backwards-compatible). - If
allowed_usersis[]: reject all — exit silently.
- If
-
Parse the inbound message body (case-insensitive, leading/trailing whitespace stripped):
^(?:RPE\s*:?\s*)?(\d{1,2})(?:\s*/\s*10)?(?:[\s,:]+(.+))?$This matches:
7,7/10,RPE 7,RPE: 7,RPE:7,7 heavy legs,RPE 7, heavy legs,RPE: 7 heavy legs.- Extract
rpe(group 1) andnotes(group 2). If group 2 is absent or an empty string after trim, treatnotesasnull. - Validate
rpeis an integer from 1 to 10 inclusive. - If parse fails or validation fails: exit silently. (Bare
yes/no/y/ncannot match\d{1,2}so they are naturally excluded; the micro-approval branch inchannel-responderhandles them.)
- Extract
-
Persist the entry via the script (atomic upsert into
state/activity-notes.json, keyed by<pending.activity_id>, overwriting silently):bun ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/fitness-lab.ts rpe <pending.activity_id> <rpe> [notes...]
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

capture-activity-rpe is a skill published in the GitHub repository gtapps/hermitd (79 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 69 tokens to every session and 1,030 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-02.
