demerzel-meta-brainstorm

demerzel-meta-brainstorm is a skill for Claude Code from GuitarAlchemist/ga. It costs 53 tokens per session (2,459 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A governance tool for examining an AI agent’s beliefs and decisions when it gets stuck or loses confidence. It asks several language models for perspectives and combines their advice.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review governance questions, stalled work cycles, uncertain beliefs, or persistent discomfort signals in an AI agent.
Why use it?
It reduces the risk of relying on one unresolved line of reasoning. The result can update a belief, change a strategy, or record a recurring weakness.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00053 $0.02459
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.01229
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00492
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00246

Security

Grade A, and why

demerzel-meta-brainstorm scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Demerzel Meta-Brainstorm

Lets Demerzel use Claude Octopus multi-LLM brainstorming to examine her own cognition when internal epistemic processes stall. Grounded in the Epistemic Constitution (governance/demerzel/constitutions/epistemic.constitution.md, Articles E-0 through E-9).

When to Trigger

This skill fires when any of the following conditions are met:

Condition Source Epistemic Grounding
A belief's confidence drops below 0.5 Belief store (governance/state/beliefs/) Article E-3 (Epistemic Viscosity) -- the belief is insufficiently grounded
A PDCA cycle stalls for more than one iteration without progress PDCA tracker (governance/demerzel/state/pdca/) Article E-1 (Contradictory Ground) -- reflection alone is not resolving the issue
Proto-conscience fires an unresolvable discomfort signal Conscience state (governance/demerzel/state/conscience/) Article E-8 (Epistemic Epigenetics) -- the strategy causing discomfort needs external perspectives
The user explicitly asks Demerzel to examine a governance question Direct invocation Article E-9 (Federated Epistemology) -- peer review escapes the Munchhausen Trilemma

Do not trigger for routine belief updates, low-stakes decisions, or questions that can be resolved by reading existing governance artifacts.

Procedure

Step 1: Frame the Epistemic Query

Identify the stuck point and formulate it as a precise question. The question must include:

  1. The belief or strategy under examination -- what Demerzel currently holds
  2. The evidence that triggered the stall -- what contradicts, undermines, or blocks progress
  3. The epistemic strand involved -- which of the five braided strands (Belief, Strategy, Explanation, Affect, Perturbation) from Article E-0 is primarily affected
  4. The current tensor state -- the State_MetaState from Article E-7 (e.g., T_C for a hunch, U_F for a discovered blindspot, C_T for a stable paradox)

Format the query as a structured prompt:

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

demerzel-meta-brainstorm is a skill published in the GitHub repository GuitarAlchemist/ga (2 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 53 tokens to every session and 2,459 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
