ios-app-templates is a skill for Claude Code from hanamizuki/solopreneur. It costs 117 tokens per session (723 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of starter iPhone app templates for specific app types, including photo analysis and portfolio tracking. Some are source code to add to a new project, while others are complete buildable projects.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when creating a camera and AI photo-analysis app or a crypto-and-stock portfolio tracker.
Why use it?
It avoids starting those app types from an empty project and provides reference implementations to customise.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00117 $0.00723
Opus 5.5 $0.00047 $0.00289
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00023 $0.00145
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00072

Security

Grade A, and why

ios-app-templates scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 20d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

iOS App Templates

When starting a new iOS app, check the catalog first for a matching template.

Catalog

Template Use when Shape
photo-analysis-app Camera capture + Vision Framework + Foundation Models on-device LLM Source-pack: Sources/ + README; paste into a freshly scaffolded project
portfolio-tracker Crypto + stock positions, prices via CoinGecko / Finnhub, news via Google News RSS, daily commentary via Anthropic Messages API Complete-clone: Pulse/ + project.yml + .gitignore; xcodegen generate and the project builds as-is

→ Read references/<template>/README.md for architecture and decisions. Source-pack templates expect you to paste their Sources/ into a project you scaffold first. Complete-clone templates ship a buildable XcodeGen project — copy the whole template directory, customize, xcodegen, build.

Each template directory may also contain customization-points.md listing the files most demos / starters need to touch.

Workflow

Source-pack template (e.g. photo-analysis-app)

  1. Read the template's README.md.
  2. Use ios-dev:iphone-apps skill to scaffold a new Xcode project.
  3. Copy all files under Sources/ into the new project.
  4. Add required Info.plist keys (e.g. NSCameraUsageDescription for camera).
  5. Wire the entry view into your NavigationStack.
  6. Extend the template with your app-specific logic (persistence, custom UI, etc.).

Complete-clone template (e.g. portfolio-tracker)

  1. Read the template's README.md and customization-points.md.
  2. Copy the entire template directory to your target path.
  3. Edit project.yml (name, PRODUCT_BUNDLE_IDENTIFIER, CFBundleDisplayName).
  4. Apply customizations listed in customization-points.md (e.g. AIPersona.swift for voice; accent color overrides; ticker maps).
  5. xcodegen generate to produce the .xcodeproj.
  6. xcodebuild to verify; install to simulator or device.

Note: allowed-tools: Read, Glob reflects what this skill itself needs (browse the catalog and read referenced files). The file-copy and Xcode scaffolding steps are performed by the calling agent using its own tool permissions — they do not need to be listed here.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
