What is ibkr-trading?

A tool for managing stock trades and viewing portfolio information through Interactive Brokers, a brokerage platform. It connects to the broker’s Trader Workstation or gateway.

Use it to view positions, account summaries, portfolios, market quotes, and history, or to place stock orders through Interactive Brokers.

It puts common trading and account checks into repeatable commands instead of requiring each action through the brokerage interface.

Overview

Trade stocks, check positions, and view market data via TWS API (ibapi). All operations use the CLI at ~/PycharmProjects/ibkr_mcp/cli.py (one-shot, connects per command). Use the venv: ~/PycharmProjects/ibkr_mcp/.venv/bin/python
