superui-source-analyzer

superui-source-analyzer is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from HappyDoggyAI/superui. It costs 78 tokens per session (668 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A read-only analyzer that examines an existing React, Vue, Next, Nuxt, Vite, or other frontend project and documents its structure, routes, styling, responsive behavior, and interactions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect frontend source code and produce reports about layout, interaction flows, design tokens, colors, typography, and component styling.
Why use it?
It records how the current interface actually works without changing product code, making later redesign or refactoring decisions evidence-based.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00078 $0.00668
Opus 5 $0.00039 $0.00334
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00134
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00067

Security

Grade A, and why

superui-source-analyzer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Frontend Source Analyzer

Extract design and interaction evidence from an existing frontend project. This skill reads source code and writes analysis artifacts; it must not modify product code.

Core Rules

  • Read only. Write analysis artifacts under <ARTIFACT_ROOT>/analysis/.
  • Use the <ARTIFACT_ROOT> passed by superui; do not choose a new output path.
  • Every conclusion must cite source evidence with file paths and line references when available.
  • Scan global structure before deep component details.
  • Read skills/superui-shared/TASK_MANAGEMENT.md; update todo.md, append evidence/blockers to progress.md, and update pipeline-status.md.

Inputs

  • project: project name used by SuperUI to determine <ARTIFACT_ROOT>.
  • source_dir: absolute path to the frontend source directory.
  • preferences: optional long-term user preferences; they may focus analysis but must not override source evidence.

If source_dir is missing, ask for it before analysis.

Workflow

  1. Identify stack, build tool, routes, entry files, global styles, and token/theme files.
  2. Produce analysis/layout.md.
  3. Produce analysis/interaction.md.
  4. Produce analysis/style.md.

For large projects, prioritize route files, app/layout shells, global CSS, theme/tokens, and shared components. Use rg --files and rg for targeted searches.

layout.md

Cover:

  • framework and directory overview
  • route table and page-level components
  • shared layout shells
  • semantic page regions
  • grid/list/layout patterns
  • spacing and alignment
  • responsive breakpoints and behavior
  • dialogs, drawers, overlays, and navigation transitions

interaction.md

Cover:

  • user actions and trigger elements
  • event handlers and side effects
  • loading, success, error, and optimistic feedback
  • CRUD loops per business entity
  • operation dependencies and mutually exclusive actions

style.md

Cover:

  • styling approach: CSS variables, Tailwind, CSS Modules, SCSS, CSS-in-JS, or component library
  • color tokens and semantic usage
  • typography scale, font family, line height, and weights
  • spacing, radius, shadow, and z-index conventions
  • component styling rules for buttons, inputs, cards, navigation, dialogs, tables, and lists

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
