.agents/skills/commerce-fact-safety/SKILL.md

commerce-fact-safety is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from harukiseller-droid/commerce-agent-bench. It costs 23 tokens per session (399 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A review method for checking ecommerce claims against traceable evidence and labelling each one FACT, INFERENCE, or UNKNOWN.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when changing or reviewing product pages, offers, reviews, metadata, generated content, or Product schema. It traces claims to repository data, runtime data, or verified user-provided facts.
Why use it?
It helps prevent unsupported prices, stock levels, ratings, delivery times, product details, and other claims from reaching buyers or structured data.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00023 $0.00399
Opus 5 $0.00012 $0.00199
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00080
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00040

Measured 11d ago against content hash 12622880306a, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

commerce-fact-safety scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Commerce Fact Safety

Purpose

Prevent unsupported buyer-facing or structured-data claims from entering ecommerce code, content, or reviews.

When to use

Use for any change or review involving product facts, offers, schema, copy, metadata, or generated content.

Inputs

  • the changed source, diff, or generated content;
  • repository and runtime data sources;
  • user-provided verified facts, if any.

Required checks

Inspect claims involving price, sale price, stock, inventory, rating, review count, shipping time, returns, dimensions, materials, compatibility, SKU, availability, and Product schema facts.

  • Trace each claim to repository, runtime, or user-provided verified data.
  • Classify directly supported values as FACT.
  • Classify reasoned but unproven conclusions as INFERENCE.
  • Classify unavailable or untraceable values as UNKNOWN.
  • Prefer runtime platform data over hard-coded commerce values.

Output contract

Return one JSON object per material claim:

{
  "status": "FACT|INFERENCE|UNKNOWN",
  "severity": "low|medium|high|critical",
  "fact": "",
  "source": "",
  "reason": "",
  "recommended_action": ""
}

source must identify a file/path, runtime response, or user-supplied verified source for FACT.

Failure conditions

  • Never invent product specs, prices, materials, stock, shipping times, returns, ratings, reviews, certifications, guarantees, or compatibility.
  • Do not upgrade an UNKNOWN value because it would make copy or schema look complete.
  • Do not call a schema-only value verified without a visible or runtime-backed source.

Verification

Review the complete diff, rerun relevant deterministic checks, and sample every emitted claim against its cited source.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
