qveris

qveris is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from HKUDS/Vibe-Trading. It costs 45 tokens per session (1,166 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A paid marketplace for accessing global financial, economic, derivatives, crypto, news, filings, and alternative data when free sources do not provide enough coverage or depth.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to search for available premium data capabilities, inspect their parameters and costs, and request datasets that are missing from free sources.
Why use it?
It helps fill data gaps, especially for specialized datasets such as options measures, broad provider comparisons, and some China, Hong Kong, or global markets.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00045 $0.01166
Opus 5 $0.00023 $0.00583
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00233
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00117

Security

Grade A, and why

qveris scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

QVeris

QVeris is a paid capability marketplace for global market, fundamental, macro, derivatives, crypto, China/HK, news, filings, and alternative-data calls. Use it when the built-in free sources cannot cover the requested dataset, when the user explicitly asks for QVeris, or when a premium provider is needed for depth such as options Greeks, analyst/calendar feeds, broad provider comparison, or paid China/HK/global coverage. For ordinary OHLCV, keep source: "auto" on the free loader chain unless the user explicitly selects source: "qveris".

Signup link: QVeris via Vibe-Trading. Invite code fallback: Vyjjo5G_1cAHJA.

Workflow

1. Discover with qveris_search

Call qveris_search first. Search is free and returns candidate capabilities with tool_id, provider, parameters, examples, expected_cost, billing rule, categories, and stats such as success_rate and average execution time.

Good queries are concrete:

  • US listed options chain implied volatility Greeks AAPL
  • Hong Kong market daily OHLCV financial statements
  • FRED CPI Treasury yield curve macro series
  • China A share northbound fund flow daily

2. Inspect with qveris_inspect

Call qveris_inspect on one or more tool_id values before any paid call. Inspect is free and returns the fuller parameter schema and sample parameters. Use it to verify required parameters, enum values, date formats, and output shape before execution.

3. Call with qveris_execute

Call qveris_execute only after the user has enabled QVeris and the tool has been inspected. Pass the inspected tool_id, the exact parameters, and a reasonable max_response_size. Use session_id and search_id when available so usage can be reconciled later.

Choosing a Capability

Prefer the candidate with the best combination of:

  1. High stats.success_rate.
  2. Low expected_cost for equivalent data.
  3. Provider fit for the task: official or specialist sources before generic mirrors when the figure matters.
  4. Parameter clarity: required fields and examples should match the user's requested asset, date range, and granularity.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
