entity-intelligence

entity-intelligence is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from HomenShum/NodeBenchAI. It costs 0 tokens per session (290 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An evidence-based research capability for questions about companies, markets, competition, due diligence, and changes over time. It produces answers or reusable run records grounded in sources.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for company research, market analysis, competitive reviews, due diligence, and tracking developments over time.
Why use it?
It reduces the risk of unsupported conclusions by preserving source links, noting missing evidence, and reporting failed fetches honestly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00290
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00116
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00058
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00029

Security

Grade A, and why

entity-intelligence scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Entity Intelligence

Use this capability for source-grounded questions about companies, markets, competitive position, diligence, and changes over time. The expected result is an evidence-backed answer or reusable run artifact, not an unsupported chat response.

Brownfield status

This pack is logically registered but not physically extracted. Production execution remains in:

  • backend/convex/domains/redesign/chatRuns.ts for orchestration and response policy;
  • backend/convex/domains/agents/ for worker orchestration;
  • packages/mcp-local/src/tools/ for the tool surface;
  • workers/node/routes/search.ts and workers/node/pipeline/ for grounding and judges;
  • apps/web/src/features/redesign/components/ChatAssistantMessage.tsx for rendering.

Do not duplicate or move those implementations during contract alignment. Use the evaluation bindings in ../../evals/ to verify the current paths, and treat repo-local-nodebench as authoritative until shadow parity supports promotion to nodeagent-native.

Output contract

  • Preserve source URLs and citation bindings for material claims.
  • Label unavailable evidence and failed fetches honestly.
  • Apply the deterministic response-shape policy from the live runtime.
  • Keep durable writes behind the existing policy and approval gates.
  • Preserve run, tool, verification, and deployment evidence needed for a future canonical receipt.
Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

entity-intelligence is a skill published in the GitHub repository HomenShum/NodeBenchAI (15 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 290 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
