What is test-driven-development?

A test-first development method: write tests that describe the expected behavior, then change the code until those tests pass. TDD means test-driven development.

Use it when implementing logic, fixing bugs, changing existing behavior, or proving that code works.

It gives you evidence that new logic, bug fixes, and behavior changes work as intended and helps detect regressions in existing code.
