resolve-kwai-cdn-url

resolve-kwai-cdn-url is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from httprunner/skills. It costs 75 tokens per session (1,246 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for turning Kuaishou, also called Kwai, video share links or shared text into the video's direct content-delivery-network URL. It can also process CSV files and return JSONL, one JSON object per line.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for individual links, shared message text, or batches of links in CSV files, with optional cookies or a proxy when access requires them.
Why use it?
It removes the manual work of following share links and extracting the underlying video address, including when the first extraction method fails.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00075 $0.01246
Opus 5 $0.00037 $0.00623
Sonnet 5 $0.00015 $0.00249
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00125

Security

Grade A, and why

resolve-kwai-cdn-url scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 4 executable files (scripts/kwai_common.py, scripts/kwai_csv_to_jsonl.py, scripts/kwai_extract_cdn.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Resolve Kwai CDN URL

Extract CDN URLs from Kuaishou share links with two paths:

  • videodl (videofetch): primary path, supports cookies/proxy (Playwright + requests).
  • GraphQL/mobile-page: fallback when videodl fails.

Path Convention

Canonical install and execution directory: ~/.agents/skills/resolve-kwai-cdn-url/. Run commands from this directory:

cd ~/.agents/skills/resolve-kwai-cdn-url

One-off (safe in scripts/loops from any working directory):

(cd ~/.agents/skills/resolve-kwai-cdn-url && uv run python scripts/kwai_videodl_resolve.py --help)

Fast path (videodl)

uv venv .venv
uv sync
uv run python scripts/kwai_videodl_resolve.py "https://v.kuaishou.com/8qIlZu" > single.jsonl

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
