huawei-cloud-cce-log-analyzer

huawei-cloud-cce-log-analyzer is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from huaweicloud/huaweicloud-skills. It costs 83 tokens per session (5,168 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A read-only analysis tool for logs from Huawei Cloud CCE, a managed Kubernetes service. It can examine application and container output, audit records, API-server activity, and scheduler decisions, and can manage log-collection rules after confirmation.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect pod logs, application logs, audit events, API status and latency, scheduler decisions, and selected log-collection settings.
Why use it?
Cloud applications often fail for reasons spread across several kinds of logs. This tool brings those records together so you can investigate errors, actions, request failures, and why Kubernetes workloads are waiting.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00083 $0.05168
Opus 5.5 $0.00033 $0.02067
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00017 $0.01034
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00517

Security

Grade A, and why

huawei-cloud-cce-log-analyzer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 13d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 14 executable files (scripts/huawei_cloud/__init__.py, scripts/huawei_cloud/cce_app_logs.py, scripts/huawei_cloud/cce_application_logs.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Huawei Cloud CCE Log Analyzer

Overview

Use this skill for read-only log queries and analysis, or for confirmed management of CCE LogConfig and LTS Access Config collection rules. It does not modify workloads, log groups, log streams, LTS log data, or unrelated cloud resources.

Need Use
Pod stdout/stderr or previous container output Pod log tools
Application logs collected to LTS Application log workflow; locate by namespace + app_name or use a rule selector
Pod/workload operation history and actor Audit log tools
API status codes and latency kube-apiserver log tools
Pending Pods and scheduler decisions kube-scheduler log tools
Create or remove collection rules LogConfig or LTS Access Config tools with preview and confirmation

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.8+, hcloud (≥ 7.2.2), and credentials with the required CCE and LTS permissions.
  • Pod stdout and CCE LogConfig tools require kubectl with the kubectl cce plugin for cluster access.
  • kubectl cce dependency: The kubectl cce plugin provides CCE cluster access. Install it through the dedicated kubectl-cce installer skill. Follow the plugin usage contract.
  • The Cloud Native Logging add-on is required for CCE LogConfig tools. LTS AGENT collection requires a healthy iCagent.
  • Audit, kube-apiserver, and kube-scheduler tools require their matching CCE Log Center switch. The tools check the switch through CCE ShowClusterConfig and never enable it.
  • Explicit --cli-access-key, --cli-secret-key, and optional --cli-security-token use only the supplied credentials. AK/SK must be supplied together, and a token requires that pair. They are forwarded to hcloud and kubectl cce; profile and credential environment-variable fallback are disabled. --cli-project-id or project_id can provide the target project when required. Without explicit CLI credentials, the order is ak/sk/project_id, local hcloud profile, then HW_ACCESS_KEY, HW_SECRET_KEY, and HW_PROJECT_ID.
  • LTS start_time and end_time use UTC YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS. If omitted, the tools generate a recent UTC window.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

huawei-cloud-cce-log-analyzer is a skill published in the GitHub repository huaweicloud/huaweicloud-skills (59 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 83 tokens to every session and 5,168 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-15.
