huawei-cloud-dli-manage

huawei-cloud-dli-manage is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from huaweicloud/huaweicloud-skills. It costs 168 tokens per session (7,763 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An operations toolkit for Huawei Cloud DLI, a managed service for running SQL, Spark, and streaming data jobs. It also manages DLI queues, databases, tables, connections, permissions, and job results.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps create and scale queues, submit or cancel SQL, Spark, and Flink jobs, inspect logs and metrics, export results, manage databases and tables, and configure enhanced connections.
Why use it?
It puts the main DLI lifecycle actions in one interface instead of requiring separate commands for compute, batch jobs, streaming jobs, and data metadata. It helps operators inspect status, logs, results, and metrics as well as change resources.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00168 $0.07763
Opus 5.5 $0.00067 $0.03105
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00034 $0.01553
Haiku 4.5 $0.00017 $0.00776

Security

Grade A, and why

huawei-cloud-dli-manage scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 14d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 2 executable files (scripts/dli_manage.py, scripts/skill_quality_sdk.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Huawei Cloud DLI Resource Management Skill

Overview

This Skill provides a full-lifecycle operations toolkit for Huawei Cloud DLI (Data Lake Insight) using the dli service of the hcloud CLI, covering ten capability groups:

  1. Queue management — ListQueues, ShowQueue, CreateQueue, DeleteQueue, RunQueueAction (scale), queue plans, CIDR
  2. Batch jobs (SQL/Spark) — CreateSqlJob, ListSqlJobs, ShowSqlJobStatus/Detail/Progress, CancelSqlJob, ExportSqlJobResult, PreviewSqlJobResult, Spark equivalents + ShowSparkJobLog
  3. Flink stream jobs — CreateFlinkSqlJob, CreateFlinkJarJob, ListFlinkJobs, ShowFlinkJob, UpdateFlink*, BatchRunFlinkJobs, BatchStopFlinkJobs, BatchDeleteFlinkJobs, ShowFlinkMetric
  4. Database management — ListDatabases, CreateDatabase, DeleteDatabase, UpdateDatabaseOwner, ListDatabaseUsers
  5. Table management — ListTables, ShowTable, CreateTable, DeleteTable, UpdateTableOwner, ListPartitions, PreviewTable, table users/privileges
  6. Enhanced connections — ListEnhancedConnections, Create/Update/DeleteEnhancedConnection, queue binding, CreateConnectivityTask/ShowConnectivityTask
  7. Resource packages — ListJobResources, ShowJobResource, UploadJar/PythonFile/FileJobResources, DeleteJobResource, UpdateJobResourceOwner
  8. Global variables — ListGlobalVariables, CreateGlobalVariable, UpdateGlobalVariable, DeleteGlobalVariable; Job templates — SQL/Flink SQL/Spark templates: list, create, update, delete
  9. Privileges & patrol — authorization actions, queue/database/table users, elastic resource pools (CU), quota, agency, catalogs

Important Constraints

Constraint Policy
High-risk operations Double confirmation required before: deleting databases (especially --cascade), deleting tables, deleting queues, deleting/cancelling running stream jobs, batch-stop/batch-delete Flink jobs, scaling queues down (scale_in), deleting queue plans (metadata is permanently irrecoverable — verify target and scope before confirming)
Business SQL This Skill performs cloud-side operations only. It never autonomously runs business write/overwrite SQL (INSERT OVERWRITE, DELETE, UPDATE, DROP) against user business tables via CreateSqlJob. SQL submission is allowed only for explicitly user-confirmed, non-destructive statements (e.g. SELECT / metadata SHOW), scoped to inspection or user-authorized tasks
Production idle cleanup Never arbitrarily clean production business metadata. Idle-resource cleanup proposals must be reported and confirmed by the user first
Scope All operations stay within DLI resource management; no changes to OBS data content, no IAM policy changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
