What is eng-fastapi-starter?

A recipe for scaffolding a small runnable FastAPI web or API project with a homepage, a health-check endpoint, dependency file, and setup instructions.

Use it to create a small FastAPI service that runs with Uvicorn, responds at the root URL, reports its health at /healthz, and includes a README for starting it.

It gives you a minimal working demo without adding infrastructure that the request did not require.
