portfolio

portfolio is a skill for Claude Code from hugoguerrap/crypto-claude-desk. It costs 18 tokens per session (272 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A read-only command for checking a trading portfolio, including balances, open trades, closed-trade results, profit or loss, and risk exposure. A portfolio is the collection of assets and trades someone holds.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review spot and futures balances, open positions, closed-trade performance, and trades nearing stop-loss or take-profit levels. It is for status checks, not for placing or changing trades.
Why use it?
It gathers the current state in one report without making trading decisions or changing the portfolio. This avoids manually checking balances, prices, and trade history.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00018 $0.00272
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00136
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00054
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00027

Measured 12d ago against content hash 4e00bb5c85c6, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

portfolio scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Portfolio Status

Show current portfolio state and performance.

Workflow

  1. Delegate using the Task tool with subagent_type: general-purpose and model: opus:

"You are the portfolio-manager agent. Read agents/portfolio-manager.md for your full analysis framework. Call get_portfolio_state() from crypto-learning-db MCP to get balances and open trades. Call get_trade_stats() for closed trade summary. For each open trade, verify current price using get_exchange_prices(symbol=...) from crypto-exchange MCP. Present a clear portfolio status report showing:

    • Spot and futures balances (current vs initial $10,000 each)
    • All open trades with current P&L
    • Summary of closed trades (wins/losses/total PnL)
    • Overall portfolio performance percentage
    • Risk exposure: how much of portfolio is currently allocated
    • Any trades approaching stop-loss or take-profit levels Do NOT make any changes or decisions — this is a read-only status check. Do NOT use the Edit tool."
  2. Present the result. If any open trades are near SL/TP levels, highlight them.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

portfolio is a skill published in the GitHub repository hugoguerrap/crypto-claude-desk (33 stars, last pushed 19d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 18 tokens to every session and 272 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
