article-workflow-visual-plan

article-workflow-visual-plan is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from hxy91819/mason-skills. It costs 77 tokens per session (4,984 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A planning step for an article-writing workflow that decides where illustrations, screenshots, diagrams, or other images would help readers. It creates image plans and briefs but does not generate the images or rewrite the article.

In plain words
What is it for?
Reviewing available images, choosing suitable visual types and locations, and preparing briefs for later image generation.
Why use it?
It turns a finished article draft and its source materials into a clear visual plan before image work begins.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00077 $0.04984
Opus 5.5 $0.00031 $0.01994
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00997
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00498

Security

Grade A, and why

article-workflow-visual-plan scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Article Workflow Visual Plan

这是流程类 Skill,默认仅在用户显式调用 $article-workflow-visual-plan 时运行。

This is Phase 4.6 of the article-workflow-* skill series, corresponding to "Illustration & Visual Aid Planning" in the article optimization workflow.

Goal: After the main draft structure stabilizes, determine where the article needs illustrations, what types of images to use, whether existing materials can support them, and whether AI-generated images are needed to aid understanding. This phase only creates plans; it does not generate images by default and does not modify the main text.

Trigger Scenarios

Use this skill when the user asks to:

  • Execute article optimization workflow Phase 4.6
  • Supplement illustration planning / visual plan / visual plan
  • Inventory screenshots, evidence images, and reference images in the article materials
  • Determine which positions are suitable for evidence screenshots, explanatory diagrams, mood images, or cover images
  • Generate .article-workflow/04.6-visual-plan/
  • Prepare briefs for subsequent AI image generation, but not directly generate images

Input and Output

Default inputs:

  • .article-workflow/brief.md
  • .article-workflow/04.5-main-draft/main-draft.md
  • .article-workflow/05-polish-rounds/polished-draft.md (if Phase 5 is already completed and the visual plan needs updating, prefer this)
  • .article-workflow/02-evidence-pool/evidence-pool.md
  • .article-workflow/02-evidence-pool/fact-check.md (if available)
  • .article-workflow/02-evidence-pool/open-questions.md (if author image source replies exist)
  • .article-workflow/sources/proofs/
  • .article-workflow/sources/references/
  • Other files from prior phases that mention image sources, screenshots, or evidence paths

Default outputs:

  • .article-workflow/04.6-visual-plan/asset-manifest.md
  • .article-workflow/04.6-visual-plan/visual-plan.md
  • .article-workflow/04.6-visual-plan/ai-image-briefs.md

Optional follow-up outputs (only written when the user explicitly requests preparing formal prompts):

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
