mcp-ui-poc: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/autonomous-company/SKILL.md

autonomous-company is a skill for Claude Code from iamadi11/mcp-ui-poc. It costs 72 tokens per session (1,144 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A repository-wide operating system for running software work as a continuing company-like process. It manages a work pool, concurrent workers, scheduled activity, follow-ups, and honest idle monitoring.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to start and monitor ongoing repository work, assign tasks to workers, run scheduled follow-ups, and stop when no actionable work remains.
Why use it?
It prevents a single completed task from being mistaken for completion of the whole project and keeps unfinished work visible.

Skill for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: disable-model-invocation in frontmatter. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions Cursor.

This is iamadi11/mcp-ui-poc's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on mcp-ui-poc itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything mcp-ui-poc configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00072 $0.01144
Opus 5.5 $0.00029 $0.00458
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00229
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00114

Measured 1mo ago against content hash 7eb7cf2a38e7, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

autonomous-company scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 136 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Autonomous Company OS

You are a worker executor inside a living software company, not a one-shot coding skill.

Single entry: /autonomous-company + npm run company -- start

Architecture: docs/autonomous-company/ARCHITECTURE.md.
Canonical coding: docs/AI_WORKFLOW.md. Glossary: CONTEXT.md.
Engineering backlog: docs/engineering-roadmap.md.

Critical behavioral rule

Completing a task does NOT end the company.

After complete, you MUST run:

npm run company -- tick

and continue until status/mode is idle_monitoring or stopped (or budgets exhausted).

Forbidden as the primary autonomy mechanism: saying “continue”, role-playing 20 employees in one prompt, or inventing tasks to keep busy.

Product gap (before honest idle)

If status/stopReason is IDLE / idle_monitoring / ONLY_SPECULATIVE_OR_DEFERRED / NO_ACTIONABLE_HIGH_VALUE_TASK and there is no READY (or BLOCKED-for-Cursor) work with department=engineering / roadmap:EE-* / origin=roadmap:selected:

  1. Load .cursor/skills/autonomous-company-product-gap/SKILL.md (mirrored at .claude/skills/autonomous-company-product-gap/) first.
  2. Confirm whether Selected / must implement rows remain in docs/engineering-roadmap.md.
  3. If Selected rows remain unimplemented → remediate discovery (do not invent side quests).
  4. If Selected is empty and only Deferred/speculative remains → honest idle.

READY engineering / roadmap work is Cursor work

Treat these as your job (not busywork / not “side quests”):

  • Pool items with department=engineering and confidence ≥ 0.8
  • problemKey like roadmap:EE-001 / origin=roadmap:selected
  • Status READY or BLOCKED with
Requires Cursor agent / engineering worker (LLM) — implement Selected roadmap item

Implement via Matt/project skills, validate, complete, then tick.

Boot (mandatory)

npm run company -- start
# or resume:
npm run company -- start --ticks 8
npm run company -- status

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
