agent-md: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/visual-evidence/SKILL.md

visual-evidence is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from iamfakeguru/agent-md. It costs 29 tokens per session (206 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A procedure for checking changes to a website or app by taking a screenshot and recording what was observed in a Markdown note. The note includes the changed files, page route, screen size, image, and result.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to start the app, capture a changed page, document the screenshot, and have another person or agent check it when possible.
Why use it?
It provides visible proof that a UI change works, instead of relying only on the source code.

Skill for Claude CodeCodex

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents).

This is iamfakeguru/agent-md's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on agent-md itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything agent-md configures →

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is ./.agent-md/bin/playwright-capture.sh <url> .agent/visual/<name>.png.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00029 $0.00206
Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00103
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00041
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00021

Measured 9d ago against content hash ca778c45e11a, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

visual-evidence scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Visual Evidence

Use this skill for any UI-facing change.

  1. Build or start the app in the normal project-specific way.
  2. Capture the changed route with:
./.agent-md/bin/playwright-capture.sh <url> .agent/visual/<name>.png
  1. Write a markdown note next to the image under .agent/visual/.
  2. The note must reference the image filename and include these fields:
# Visual Check

Changed files:
- <path>

Route: <url or route>
Viewport: <width>x<height>
Artifact: <image filename>
Observed result: <what was verified>
  1. Use an independent verifier when possible: another agent, a browser screenshot inspection, or the human.
  2. Do not self-grade visual correctness from code alone.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
