skill-saas-security-scan

skill-saas-security-scan is a skill for Codex from IAPro-Community/Orquestrador-Maestro. It costs 83 tokens per session (1,016 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A defensive security-scanning workflow for SaaS codebases you own or are authorized to inspect. It covers source code, dependencies, secrets, containers, infrastructure files, APIs, and customer-data separation.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it with tools such as Semgrep, Gitleaks, Trivy, and OSV-Scanner to scan local repositories, containers, infrastructure, API handlers, Supabase projects, and multi-tenant access controls.
Why use it?
It brings several release and security checks together to find leaked credentials, vulnerable packages, unsafe code, and isolation problems before deployment.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00083 $0.01016
Opus 5 $0.00042 $0.00508
Sonnet 5 $0.00017 $0.00203
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00102

Security

Grade A, and why

skill-saas-security-scan scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/saas-security-scan.cmd), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Authorization gate

Use only on local repositories the user owns or is explicitly authorized to assess. Before running scans, record:

  • Repository path.
  • Authorization statement from the current task.
  • Whether the run is advisory or blocking.

Do not scan third-party targets from this skill. Use skill-saas-dast-recon for authorized URLs.

Core workflow

  1. Confirm the repository path is local, exists, and is authorized.
  2. Prefer read-only scans. Do not mutate dependencies, lockfiles, source, or secrets.
  3. Run the lightest meaningful checks first:
    • gitleaks detect --redact for git-history and working-tree secrets.
    • semgrep scan with OWASP and secrets rules for SAST.
    • osv-scanner, package-manager audit, or trivy fs for vulnerable dependencies.
    • trivy config or trivy fs --scanners vuln, secret, misconfig for IaC, container config, SBOM, CVE, and secret coverage.
    • npm audit --audit-level=moderate only when a Node lockfile exists.
  4. Store raw results under security-reports/.
  5. Triage findings by severity, affected file, exploitability, tenant impact, and fix path.
  6. Treat scanner output as evidence, not proof. Manually verify high-impact findings before claiming they are exploitable.

Default command

"{{USER_HOME}}/.orquestrador\skills\skill-saas-security-scan\scripts\saas-security-scan.cmd" "C:\path\to\repo" --authorized-local-repo

Severity and gates

  • Critical: confirmed secrets, remote code execution, auth bypass, service-role exposure, cross-tenant data access, or public write access to sensitive data. Block release.
  • High: reproducible injection, IDOR, missing RLS on exposed tables, unsafe webhook verification, vulnerable critical dependency with reachable code path. Block merge until fixed or formally risk-accepted.
  • Medium: missing rate limits, weak headers, excessive permissions, dependency CVEs without confirmed reachability, unsafe defaults. Require ticketed remediation.
  • Low/Info: hardening, stale packages, defense-in-depth improvements. Track without blocking.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
