completion-gate

completion-gate is a skill for Claude Code from ihabkhaled/AI-Psychiatry. It costs 36 tokens per session (196 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A final checklist for confirming that a requested change is actually complete. It checks the defined requirements, tests, mandatory gates, and known blocking problems before stopping.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it at the end of an implementation, review, test, or research task. It helps confirm the completion conditions, resolve required blockers, report evidence, and stop when the finite work is done.
Why use it?
It prevents work from being declared finished without proof, while also preventing optional improvements from delaying delivery. Remaining non-blocking findings are recorded as follow-ups.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00036 $0.00196
Opus 5 $0.00018 $0.00098
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00039
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00020

Security

Grade A, and why

completion-gate scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Completion Gate

Core principle

Once objective and finite Definition of Done are proven, report evidence and stop.

Procedure

  1. Freeze new scope and fresh audits.
  2. Check objective, every DoD condition, required tests, mandatory gates, and known blocking regressions.
  3. Classify remaining findings.
  4. Resolve only blockers and required items.
  5. Record optional follow-ups.
  6. Report delivered outcome and exact proof, then terminate.

Required output

Completion verdict, proof, known blockers or none, and deferred optional findings.

Limits

Near completion optional exploration is zero.

Common mistakes

Do not say done without proof or continue with one more improvement after proof.

Stop condition

Stop immediately when all finite completion conditions are true.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

completion-gate is a skill published in the GitHub repository ihabkhaled/AI-Psychiatry (3 stars, last pushed 25d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 36 tokens to every session and 196 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
