api-security

api-security is a skill for Claude Code from iradoweck/antigravity-awesome-skills. It costs 47 tokens per session (2,065 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of api-security, MIT.

A structured method for authorized security assessments of REST, GraphQL, WebSocket, and SOAP APIs. It examines authentication, permissions, rate limits, and common API weaknesses.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for approved API security reviews, including JWT or OAuth checks, BOLA/IDOR testing, rate-limit testing, and GraphQL security assessment.
Why use it?
It helps reveal ways an API could expose data, accept unauthorized actions, or be overwhelmed by requests before attackers find them.

Written for Claude Code: shipped in a Claude Code plugin.

Needs its repository: it reads a path above its own folder, which exists only inside the repository. The line is □ kid 注入: ../../etc/passwd → HMAC 签名绕过.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00047 $0.02065
Opus 5 $0.00023 $0.01033
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00413
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00206

Security

Grade A, and why

api-security scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

⚠️ AUTHORIZED USE ONLY This skill is for educational purposes or authorized security assessments only. You must have explicit, written permission from the system owner before using this tool. Misuse of this tool is illegal and strictly prohibited.

Mandatory confirmation gate Before running any command that probes, exploits, changes, persists on, extracts data from, or attempts credential access against a target:

  1. Ask the user to state the exact target URL, IP, account, or resource.
  2. Ask the user to confirm written authorization and the permitted scope.
  3. Show the exact command(s) and explain their expected effect.
  4. Wait for explicit confirmation in the current conversation.

Without that confirmation, remain read-only and provide defensive guidance only. Prefer a sandbox, disposable VM, or controlled lab.

When to Use

  • An authorized assessment covers API endpoints and you need a structured discovery-to-report workflow.
  • Testing API authentication, authorization, or rate-limiting behavior within an approved scope.

  • JWT / OAuth 2.0
  • BOLA/IDOR/BFLA

Phase 1: API

□ Kiterunner / ffuf:
□ 检查常见路径: /swagger.json, /openapi.json, /graphql, /api-docs

Phase 2:

□ 弱 HMAC 密钥爆破: jwt_tool -C -d wordlist.txt
□ 过期/声明篡改: 修改 exp/iat/sub/role 声明

OAuth 2.0:
□ redirect_uri 操控 → 授权码泄漏
□ CSRF via state 参数缺失

Phase 3: 授权测试(BOLA/IDOR/BFLA)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
