domain-modeling

domain-modeling is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from iurysza/android-use. It costs 37 tokens per session (1,025 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A software design workflow for defining the important terms, relationships, boundaries, diagrams, and lasting decisions in a project. A domain model is a shared description of the real-world concepts the software represents.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to maintain a project glossary, map separate areas of the system, describe relationships, and record architecture decisions.
Why use it?
It prevents teams and agents from using inconsistent meanings and losing important architectural decisions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00037 $0.01025
Opus 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00410
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00007 $0.00205
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00103

Security

Grade A, and why

domain-modeling scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 100 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Domain Modeling

Actively build and sharpen the project's domain model as you design. This is the active discipline—challenging terms, inventing edge-case scenarios, visualizing relationships, and writing the glossary and decisions down when they crystallize. Merely reading ai-artifacts/CONTEXT.md for vocabulary is not this skill; this skill is for changing the model, not just consuming it.

Artifact home

Keep agent-authored project knowledge under ai-artifacts/. This includes context glossaries, context maps, ADRs, plans, specs, analyses, reports, reviews, and other Markdown primarily created for or by an LLM.

Use another location only when the user or repository explicitly requires it, such as a human-facing README.md or established product documentation. Do not relocate existing documentation unless asked.

Embed ASCII or Mermaid diagrams directly in the Markdown they explain. Do not create standalone diagram files.

File structure

Most repositories have a single context:

/
├── ai-artifacts/
│ ├── CONTEXT.md
│ └── docs/
│ └── adr/
│ ├── 0001-event-sourced-orders.md
│ └── 0002-postgres-for-write-model.md
└── src/

If ai-artifacts/CONTEXT-MAP.md exists, the repository has multiple contexts:

/
├── ai-artifacts/
│ ├── CONTEXT-MAP.md
│ ├── docs/
│ │ └── adr/ ← system-wide decisions
│ └── src/
│ ├── ordering/
│ │ ├── CONTEXT.md
│ │ └── docs/adr/ ← context-specific decisions
│ └── billing/
│ ├── CONTEXT.md
│ └── docs/adr/
└── src/ ← application source code

ai-artifacts/src/ mirrors the source tree only to make context ownership obvious. Application code remains in the repository's real source directories.

Create files lazily—only when there is something worth recording. Create ai-artifacts/CONTEXT.md when the first term is resolved. Create an ADR directory when the first qualifying decision is made. Create ai-artifacts/CONTEXT-MAP.md only when the project has multiple genuine contexts.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

domain-modeling is a skill published in the GitHub repository iurysza/android-use (20 stars, last pushed 9d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 37 tokens to every session and 1,025 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-15.
