clip-maker-find-moments

clip-maker-find-moments is a skill for Claude Code from IvanLutsenko/awac-ai-agent-plugins. It costs 27 tokens per session (387 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for finding engaging sections in a transcript or video for vertical clips. It accepts a transcript directly or transcribes a supported video file first.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use the /find-moments command with a transcript or video, optionally setting a target duration, to produce a list of promising clip moments.
Why use it?
It combines transcription and moment selection when the source is a video. This avoids needing to prepare a transcript separately before looking for usable clips.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00027 $0.00387
Opus 5 $0.00014 $0.00193
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00077
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00039

Security

Grade A, and why

clip-maker-find-moments scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Converted from Claude Code command /find-moments. Review and adapt: hooks and MCP tool IDs may need manual mapping for Codex.

Find Interesting Moments

Analyze a transcript (or video) to find the most engaging moments for vertical clips.

Arguments

Parse $ARGUMENTS for:

  • <path>required, path to either:
    • transcript.json — pre-existing transcript
    • video file (.mp4, .mov, .avi, etc.) — will transcribe first
  • --duration N — target moment duration in seconds (default: 60)

Steps

1. Determine input type

Check the file extension:

  • If .json → use as transcript directly
  • If video file → transcribe first using:
    bash plugins/clip-maker/scripts/install-deps.sh
    bash plugins/clip-maker/scripts/transcribe.sh "<video_path>" "<output_dir>"

2. Find moments

Launch the moment-finder agent:

Agent(subagent_type="clip-maker:moment-finder", model="opus", prompt="
Analyze the transcript and find the most engaging moments.

- Transcript path: <transcript_path>
- Target duration: <duration> seconds
- Output path: <output_dir>/moments.json

Read the transcript, find the best moments, and write moments.json.
")

3. Display results

Read moments.json and present moments to the user as a formatted list:

  • Number, title, time range (MM:SS - MM:SS), score
  • The key quote from each moment
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
