Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

What it costs to keep this loaded
Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00000 | $0.00541 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00000 | $0.00270 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00000 | $0.00108 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00000 | $0.00054 |
Grade A, and why
crdts scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 29 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Conflict-free Replicated Data Types (CRDTs)
1. Skill Context
Focus: Building local-first, peer-to-peer, real-time collaborative applications (like Google Docs, Figma, or Notion) where multiple users edit the exact same document simultaneously without locks. Triggers: crdt, real-time-collaboration, yjs, automerge, offline-first.
2. The Legacy Approach: Operational Transformation (OT)
Historically (e.g., early Google Docs), systems used Operational Transformation (OT). If Alice types "A" and Bob types "B", a centralized server intercepts both operations, decides the canonical timeline, transforms the operations, and sends them back.
- Problem: OT requires a central server and is notoriously difficult to scale. It falls apart in peer-to-peer or offline-first scenarios.
3. The CRDT Paradigm
CRDTs are data structures that can be replicated across multiple computers in a network. They can be updated independently and concurrently without coordination. Mathematical Magic: As long as all peers receive the same set of updates (regardless of the order), they are mathematically guaranteed to converge on the exact same state.
Properties of CRDTs
For operations to merge perfectly regardless of network latency, they must be:
- Commutative: A + B = B + A (Order doesn't matter).
- Associative: (A + B) + C = A + (B + C).
- Idempotent: A + A = A (Receiving the same message twice doesn't break the state).
Common Types
- G-Counter (Grow-only Counter): Each node has a slot in an array. To increment, it adds 1 to its slot. To merge, you just take the
max()of each slot across all peers. - LWW-Element-Set (Last Write Wins): Elements carry timestamps. If there is a conflict, the highest timestamp wins.
- Sequence CRDTs (Text Editing): Instead of saying "Insert 'A' at index 5", elements are assigned fractional IDs (e.g., 'A' is between 0.5 and 0.6). Characters never shift their IDs when other characters are inserted.
4. Architectural Implementation
Modern ecosystems use robust libraries like Yjs or Automerge instead of rolling custom CRDTs. The architecture shifts from standard REST APIs to WebSocket/WebRTC sync engines where the Client holds the source of truth, and the Backend is merely a dumb broadcasting relay and persistence layer.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

crdts is a skill published in the GitHub repository j4flmao/agent-skills (23 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 541 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-05.
