load-cloudflare

load-cloudflare is a skill for Claude Code from jackfranklin/dotfiles. It costs 24 tokens per session (275 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A setup skill that installs Cloudflare’s official skill bundle for the Pi coding agent when the user explicitly asks for it. It leaves an existing installation unchanged.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for adding Cloudflare-related skills to Pi from Cloudflare’s official bundle.
Why use it?
It avoids manually finding the current setup instructions and prevents accidental updates or duplicate installation. Pi must be restarted before it can discover newly installed skills.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00024 $0.00275
Opus 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00110
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00055
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00028

Security

Grade A, and why

load-cloudflare scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Load Cloudflare Skills

Use this skill only when the user explicitly invokes it. This dotfiles repository deliberately does not vendor Cloudflare's skill bundle.

  1. Fetch and read the current official setup instructions: https://developers.cloudflare.com/agent-setup/prompt.md.

  2. If ~/.pi/agent/skills/cloudflare/SKILL.md exists, report that the Cloudflare skills are already installed and stop. Do not update or reinstall them.

  3. Otherwise, follow any Pi-specific instructions in the fetched prompt. If it has no Pi-specific section, install the current bundle for Pi with:

DISABLE_TELEMETRY=1 npx -y skills add cloudflare/skills --skill '*' --yes --global --agent pi

  4. Do not configure Cloudflare MCP servers unless the official prompt contains Pi-specific MCP instructions.

  5. Tell the user to restart Pi. It discovers newly installed skills at startup.

The installed bundle lives in ~/.pi/agent/skills/, outside this repository. Update it only when the user explicitly asks; this skill intentionally treats an existing bundle as current enough.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

load-cloudflare is a skill published in the GitHub repository jackfranklin/dotfiles (254 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 24 tokens to every session and 275 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-22.
