Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00058 | $0.00651 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00029 | $0.00326 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00012 | $0.00130 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00065 |
Grade A, and why
repurpose-longform scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 46 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Repurpose long-form into Socialync drafts
Use Socialync MCP tools. Do not post directly to social platforms.
Setup
list_profilesforprofileId.list_connectionsso you only target connected platforms.check_quotabefore generating a batch. Free accounts have 5 posts/month (one cross-post = one post) and no AI generation. Paid plans allow 10 AI-created posts per day per brand.
How to split the work
Read the source (transcript, article, notes). Extract 1 to 5 distinct posts, not 8 clones of the same line.
For each post, write a native caption:
- X / Bluesky: one idea, under the hard character cap.
- Threads: conversational, max 5 links, under 500.
- LinkedIn: the point in the first 210 characters, then the rest.
- Instagram: first 125 characters do the work; hashtags only if the user wants them.
- TikTok / YouTube: video only, so these need a
mediaIdfromlist_mediaor a public video URL. Hook in the first line. YouTube needs a title under 60 characters plus a description. - Facebook: short; long captions underperform.
If generate_content is available on the plan, use it for a first pass, then edit to match the user's voice from the source. On the free plan it returns a plan error: write the captions yourself.
Queue, do not publish
- Upload or pick media (
create_media_upload/finalize_media_upload/list_media) when the user provided files or a public video URL. You cannot receive a video file in chat; the user uploads it in Socialync. validate_postper post.create_post_draft(text or images, immediate) orschedule_post_draft(future time, may carry one video) per post, or per cross-post group if they asked to publish the same asset everywhere.- Show a table: platform, caption, proposed time, quota spend.
- Stop. The user approves drafts in their Socialync draft inbox, or confirms in chat and you call
approve_draft.
Only use publish_now or publish_scheduled when the user explicitly asked to go live now and confirmed the exact content. Default is the draft flow, and default timing is scheduled, not publish-now.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

repurpose-longform is a skill published in the GitHub repository JackVitick/socialync-mcp (0 stars, last pushed 10d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 58 tokens to every session and 651 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
