Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00148 | $0.00954 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00074 | $0.00477 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00030 | $0.00191 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00015 | $0.00095 |
Grade A, and why
web-scraper-jina-ai scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.
curl -s "https://r.jina.ai/https://example.com/article" How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 103 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

How It Works
Prepend https://r.jina.ai/ to any URL. Jina renders the page (including JavaScript), extracts the main content, and returns clean Markdown.
Usage
Via CLI (recommended for speed)
# Basic fetch
curl -s "https://r.jina.ai/https://example.com/article"
# With headers for better results
curl -s "https://r.jina.ai/https://example.com/article" \
-H "Accept: text/markdown" \
-H "X-No-Cache: true"
Via web_fetch
web_fetch("https://r.jina.ai/https://example.com/article")
When to Use Jina Reader vs web_fetch
| Scenario | Use |
|---|---|
| Static HTML page | web_fetch (faster, no external dependency) |
| JavaScript-rendered page (SPA, React, etc.) | Jina Reader |
| Paywall / login-gated content | Jina Reader (bypasses many paywalls) |
| X/Twitter posts and threads | Jina Reader (extracts tweet text, author, timestamps) |
| Need structured metadata (title, author, date) | Jina Reader (returns Title + URL Source header) |
| GitHub README / docs | web_fetch (works fine for static content) |
| Very long pages (need truncation control) | web_fetch (has maxChars parameter) |
Output Format
Jina returns content with a header block:
Title: Article Title Here
URL Source: https://original-url.com/article
Markdown Content:
# Article Title
...clean markdown content...
Options (HTTP Headers)
| Header | Value | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
Accept |
text/markdown |
Force markdown output |
X-No-Cache |
true |
Bypass Jina cache, get fresh content |
X-With-Links-Summary |
true |
Append all links at the end |
X-With-Images-Summary |
true |
Append all images at the end |
X-Target-Selector |
CSS selector | Extract only specific page elements |
X-Wait-For-Selector |
CSS selector | Wait for element before extracting |
Practical Patterns

What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

web-scraper-jina-ai is a skill published in the GitHub repository JackyCSer/awesome-openclaw-skills (1 stars, last pushed 6mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 148 tokens to every session and 954 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
