Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00052 $0.00664
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00332
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00133
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00066

Measured 7d ago against content hash 49b498d24396, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

workshop-faq-generator scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Workshop FAQ Generator Skill

Purpose

Pre-generates a comprehensive, topic-tailored FAQ document (docs/20-faq.md) covering hardware requirements, software installations, API keys, venue network resilience, offline fallbacks, and code debugging. Reduces repetitive attendee Q&A by up to 80% during live workshop sessions.

5 Core FAQ Domains

When auto-generating docs/20-faq.md, the agent must populate questions across 5 core domains:

1. Hardware & Operating System

  • Q: What are the minimum RAM and CPU specs required for local LLM labs?
    • A: Minimum 8GB RAM for 2B parameter models (gemma4:e2b). 16GB RAM recommended for 4B parameter models (gemma4:e4b).
  • Q: Can I complete the workshop on an Intel Mac or Windows ARM device?
    • A: Yes. Intel Mac users will use Ollama CLI mode or Cloud Gemini API. Windows ARM users can use native ARM64 Ollama builds.

2. Software & Package Runtimes

  • Q: Do I need Docker installed for this workshop?
    • A: Only if vector database container labs are explicitly enabled in the curriculum; otherwise, Python uv is sufficient.
  • Q: What is uv and why are we using it instead of pip or conda?
    • A: uv is an extremely fast Python package and project manager that automatically installs required Python versions and dependencies without manual venv creation.

3. API Keys & Billing Safety

  • Q: Where do I get a free Gemini API Key?
  • Q: Will I be charged for using Gemini API during the workshop?
    • A: Google AI Studio provides a free tier ample for workshop labs.

4. Venue Network & Offline Mode

  • Q: What if the venue WiFi drops or becomes congested?
    • A: Follow the offline setup guide in docs/01-hardware-and-env.md to pre-download model weights (ollama pull gemma4:e4b) before arriving at the venue.

5. Code & Lab Resetting

  • Q: I modified starter code and hit syntax errors. How do I reset to a clean state?
    • A: Copy the reference code snippet from workshop/02_final/ or run git checkout workshop/01_starter/.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
