glia

glia is a skill for Claude Code from James-Chahwan/repo-graph. It costs 194 tokens per session (4,311 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command-line tool for answering structural questions about a codebase by building a graph of its code and connections. It can trace calls, imports, service links, data access, tests, and documentation across languages.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to find definitions, trace feature flows, inspect callers and implementations, identify affected tests, and review the impact of a change.
Why use it?
It helps locate definitions and understand how a change travels through services without relying only on text search. A health check shows where the graph cannot see parts of a repository.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00194 $0.04311
Opus 5.5 $0.00078 $0.01724
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00039 $0.00862
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00431

Security

Grade A, and why

glia scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

glia from the command line

glia parses a repo into one cross-language graph and answers questions from it. The graph holds calls, imports, the HTTP / gRPC / GraphQL / queue / event / WebSocket links between services, data access, tests and docs. Each answer is one glia <command> <repo> ... call. Add --json for structured output (progress lines go to stderr). Open the file:line an answer gives and read it there rather than grepping for it.

On a repo you have not seen before, run glia health <repo> --json first. It says, per boundary mechanism (HTTP, gRPC, RPC, GraphQL, queues, WebSocket), how much of the client and server side the graph pairs, with a verdict OK, DEGRADED or BLIND, plus the code files no parser read and the workspace imports left unbound. Where a mechanism is BLIND, an answer that depends on it ("0 breaking", "nothing calls this route") means glia could not see, not that nothing is there: grep for that part instead.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
