mooboard-create-masonry-grid

mooboard-create-masonry-grid is a skill for Claude Code from jamesdawsonWD/mooboard-skills. It costs 49 tokens per session (1,669 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A way to create an infinite board of images arranged in a Pinterest-style masonry grid, where columns keep their widths and images keep their proportions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for reference images, outfit collections, products, recipes, interiors, photography, or other browseable image libraries.
Why use it?
It makes large collections easier to scan without overlaps or a rigid, fixed-page layout. Consistent spacing keeps the board organised as more items are added.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00049 $0.01669
Opus 5 $0.00024 $0.00834
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00334
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00167

Security

Grade A, and why

mooboard-create-masonry-grid scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Mooboard Create Masonry Grid

Create a new board under the Mooboard library in a clean, Pinterest-style masonry grid layout on an infinite board.

This style is for scanning a larger number of items quickly. It should feel organised, tidy, and browseable.

Core idea

The canvas is infinite, so the grid may extend as far down or across as needed. You are not constrained to a fixed page.

However, the layout must be intentionally organised:

  • choose a clear column system
  • choose a consistent display width for items in the same lane
  • preserve image aspect ratios
  • calculate display height from display width
  • maintain consistent gutters
  • avoid overlaps entirely

Do not rely on a layout script. Use agent review to check the masonry plan.

Best use cases

  • Large image collections
  • Fashion references
  • Interior ideas
  • Recipes
  • Product browsing
  • Outfit ideas
  • Photo references
  • Inspiration boards where browsing matters more than annotation

Style rules

A masonry grid board should usually include:

  • 12–100+ images
  • Optional small captions or links
  • Optional light section headers
  • Little or no arrow use
  • Minimal expressive annotation

It should not look like:

  • a loose collage
  • a formal comparison dashboard
  • a random scatter
  • a single aligned table row

Layout character

Desired feel

  • Clean
  • Repeatable
  • Easy to scan
  • Balanced columns
  • Predictable spacing
  • Good use of the infinite vertical canvas

Spacing expectations

  • Horizontal gutter between columns: 80–140px
  • Vertical gap between cards within a column: 60–100px
  • Hard minimum gap: 50px

Required multi-agent workflow

Agent 1 — Content Planner

Determines:

  • number of items
  • whether grouping or sectioning is needed
  • whether there should be 1 grid or multiple grouped grids

Agent 2 — Grid Planner

Determines:

  • number of columns
  • shared display width for tiles
  • section header regions if needed
  • initial x positions for each column

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
