In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create, inspect, update, or delete Discord roles and channels, or prepare their IDs for Discord automation.
Why use it?
It provides a defined process for finding the right server resources, checking them, and preparing changes with the required IDs and permissions. This reduces the risk of changing the wrong role or channel.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00065 $0.00566
Opus 5.5 $0.00026 $0.00226
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00113
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00057

Security

Grade A, and why

apps-manage-discord scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Manage Apps Discord resources

Manage roles and channels through the Apps Discord API. Read references/discord.md before writing permissions or connecting a resource to a plan.

When to load this skill

Read this skill before the first matching apps_* MCP call in each task. Read the linked reference before every create, update, or delete operation.

Tools

  • Roles: apps_get_discord_role, apps_create_discord_role, apps_update_discord_role, apps_delete_discord_role
  • Channels: apps_get_discord_channel, apps_create_discord_channel, apps_update_discord_channel, apps_delete_discord_channel

Role create requires name. Channel create requires type and name.

Workflow

  1. Call apps_auth_status.
  2. Obtain the exact guild_id and any existing role or channel ID. Never infer IDs from names.
  3. Fetch an existing resource before updating or deleting it.
  4. For creation, establish the name, placement, permissions, and parent category where relevant.
  5. Preview create, update, or delete with dry_run: true and explain the target guild and resource.
  6. Execute with confirm: true only after approval.
  7. Return the resource ID and settings required for the next Apps plan step.

Apps plan automation

These tools manage Discord resources. A payment or registration plan's discord_rule controls automatic behavior during sign-up or payment. When the user wants automated access, first ensure the target role exists, then use the relevant payment-page or registration-page workflow to add its ID to discord_rule. Official REST triggers are auto, manual, and cancel (契約解約). Waiting-list application and withdrawal timings exist only in the Apps administration screen; do not invent trigger strings, and do not send cancel as a substitute for 申し込みの取り消し.

Safety

  • Writes need APPS_MCP_ALLOW_WRITE=true. Do not ask the user to paste that value in chat; point them to configure or the MCP env.
  • Preview with dry_run: true, explain the pending effect, then execute with confirm: true only after approval.
  • Treat deletion as irreversible and verify the exact ID.
  • Do not broaden permissions beyond the requested behavior.
  • Do not return Discord member lists or unrelated user identifiers.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
