lexi

lexi is a skill for Claude Code from jazz1x/honne. It costs 43 tokens per session (740 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A vocabulary-analysis workflow that examines conversation text for frequently used words, switching between languages, and sound-effect words. It can work across a repository or a wider collection of conversations in a chosen language.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for scanning transcripts, extracting lexicon patterns, reviewing sample quotes, and recording accepted findings or rejections.
Why use it?
It turns scattered conversation text into a reviewable description of your language habits, while letting you accept, reject, or edit suggested findings.

Skill for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} variable.

Runs only inside its plugin — its command needs a path that Claude Code sets for a plugin’s own hooks and for nothing else. Install the plugin, not this.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00043 $0.00740
Opus 5 $0.00022 $0.00370
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00148
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00074

Measured 6d ago against content hash db0cc2bef328, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

lexi scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

lexi — Lexicon Axis

Standalone lexicon extraction and analysis. Uses the unified honne CLI, presents findings, records claims.

Step 1: HITL (scope + locale)

Ask for scope (repo/global) AND locale (ko/en/jp). Set SCOPE and LOCALE variables from the replies.

Step 2: Scan

bash "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/honne" scan --base-dir ".honne" --scope "$SCOPE"

Step 3: Axis extract

bash "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/honne" axis run lexicon --scan .honne/cache/scan.json --locale "$LOCALE"

Step 4: Review JSON

Read JSON output — review candidate_claim, quotes, insufficient_evidence fields.

Step 5: HITL accept/reject/edit

Present candidate claim with sample quotes, ask (y/n/edit):

  • y: proceed to Step 6
  • n: record rejection — bash "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/honne" record claim --base-dir ".honne" --type rejection --axis lexicon --scope "$SCOPE" --text "$candidate"; skip to done
  • edit: user provides revised text, use as claim

Step 6: Record claim

bash "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/honne" record claim --base-dir ".honne" --type claim --axis lexicon --scope "$SCOPE" --text "$claim"

Step 7: Check past rejections

Avoid re-proposing: bash "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/honne" query --base-dir ".honne" --type rejection --tag lexicon --scope "$SCOPE"

Progress monitoring — use Monitor until-loop (never sleep N && cat):

# ✓ Monitor: until [ -f ".honne/cache/.axis_lexicon.json" ]

Report saved to stdout + .honne/assets/claims.jsonl

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
