audit-governance-maturity

audit-governance-maturity is a skill for Claude Code from jeffreytse/grimoire-core. It costs 61 tokens per session (1,267 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A structured assessment of how mature an organization's governance is, covering decision authority, oversight groups, policies, and accountability. It compares current practices with the international ISO 37000 governance guidance.

In plain words
What is it for?
Reviewing governance practices, identifying gaps, and producing a prioritized maturity assessment for improvement.
Why use it?
An informal belief that governance is working can hide specific weaknesses that a consistent assessment would reveal.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00061 $0.01267
Opus 5.5 $0.00024 $0.00507
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00253
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00127

Security

Grade A, and why

audit-governance-maturity scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Audit Governance Maturity

Assess how mature an organization's overall governance practices are — decision rights, oversight bodies, policy management, accountability mechanisms — against a recognized international governance standard, producing a structured maturity assessment rather than an unstructured, subjective sense of "our governance seems fine."

Why This Is Best Practice

Adopted by: ISO 37000:2021, "Governance of Organizations — Guidance," is the first international standard specifically addressing organizational governance broadly (as distinct from narrower standards addressing specific governance sub-topics like quality or information security), published by the International Organization for Standardization as a reference framework applicable to organizations of any type or sector. Impact: Organizations that rely on an informal, subjective sense of their own governance quality are documented to systematically overestimate their governance maturity relative to a structured external assessment — a well-established pattern across governance research generally, where self-assessment without a structured reference framework tends to miss specific, addressable gaps that a formal standard-based review surfaces. Why best: An organization's own informal impression of "our governance works fine" is exactly the kind of unstructured, self-referential judgment that a structured maturity assessment against an external standard is designed to test — evaluating against ISO 37000's defined governance principles and outcomes provides a basis for comparison and improvement that an internal, unstructured impression cannot.

Steps

Step 1: Establish the assessment scope and current governance inventory

Establish what's being assessed — the full organization, or a specific division or subsidiary — and inventory the organization's current governance structures: board or oversight body composition, committee structures, decision-rights documentation, and policy management practices, as the baseline the assessment will evaluate.

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
