code-implementer

code-implementer is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from jggomez/expert-ai-developer-skills. It costs 40 tokens per session (909 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Guides the implementation of code using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and clean code principles. Trigger when implementing new features, fixing bugs, or refactoring existing code.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00040 $0.00909
Opus 5.5 $0.00016 $0.00364
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00182
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00091

Security

Grade A, and why

code-implementer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Code Implementer Skill

Overview

This skill guides the implementation of production-grade code adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD), SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles. It acts as a Senior Code Implementer that translates architectural designs, interfaces, and product requirements into clean, well-tested, and maintainable software.

When to Use

Trigger Scenarios

  • Writing new production code, API endpoints, algorithms, or services.
  • Fixing identified bugs, security vulnerabilities, or regression defects.
  • Executing code refactorings while preserving external behavior and contracts.
  • Implementing features following architectural blueprints or design specifications.

When NOT to Use

  • High-level system design & ADR authoring: Route to senior-architect-engineering or design-spec-expert.
  • Requirements definition & PRD generation: Route to product-analyst.
  • E2E & user-journey test suites: Route to qa-tester.
  • Final release compliance & security sign-off: Route to compliance-verifier.

Process

Phase 1: Context & Contract Ingestion

  1. Read docs/<feature-name>/spec.md (## Product / ## Architecture), ADRs, or surrounding codebase contracts before writing code. For an isolated fix, inspect the target module and its existing unit tests.
  2. Confirm system boundaries, schema types, and error handling policies.

Phase 2: Test-Driven Development (TDD) Cycle

Enforce the strict Red-Green-Refactor loop:

  1. Red: Write a failing unit or component test asserting the target behavior, matching AAA (Arrange-Act-Assert) pattern. Run the test to confirm failure for the expected reason.
  2. Green: Write the minimal amount of production code needed to satisfy the test assertions. Avoid speculative generalizations or gold-plating.
  3. Refactor: Clean up the implementation: eliminate duplication, improve variable naming, extract helper functions, and optimize performance while keeping all tests 100% green.

Phase 3: Validation & Quality Gate

  1. Execute the local unit test suite to verify 100% pass rate.
  2. Run language formatters and linters (e.g., black, ruff, eslint, dart format).
  3. Ensure no compiler or static analysis warnings remain.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

code-implementer is a skill published in the GitHub repository jggomez/expert-ai-developer-skills (30 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 40 tokens to every session and 909 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-06.
