dsh-studio: Skill for Codex

.agents/skills/dsh-prose-standard/SKILL.md

dsh-prose-standard is a skill for Codex from jiuge2467/dsh-studio. It costs 59 tokens per session (1,778 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of dsh-prose-standard, MIT.

A writing standard for prose in the DeepSeek harness repository, including documentation, comments, prompts, descriptions, diagnostics, and interface text.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to write, review, restore, shorten, or audit repository prose and comments.
Why use it?
It helps keep explanations focused on obligations and behavior while removing repetition and reasoning transcripts. It also identifies when more documentation is required.

Skill for Codex

Written for Codex: agents/openai.yaml present. Also seen: installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents); mentions AGENTS.md.

This is jiuge2467/dsh-studio's own configuration. It tells Codex how to work on dsh-studio itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything dsh-studio configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00059 $0.01778
Opus 5 $0.00030 $0.00889
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00356
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00178

Measured 10d ago against content hash 60fb954529bf, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

dsh-prose-standard scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

DeepSeek Harness Prose Standard

Write enough to preserve the contract, then remove reasoning transcripts, repetition, and decoration. A contract is an obligation, invariant, precondition, postcondition, or compatibility promise that a caller, callee, implementer, producer, or consumer relies on. This skill owns editorial judgment and required prose coverage; use dsh-doc-standards for placement, budgets, bilingual pairs, and documentation gates, and dsh-trim-cot-leakage for hunting and fixing reasoning-transcript leakage. It is guidance, not a script.

Treat contract, boundary, shape, surface, seam, gate, and vocabulary as terms to check before use, not banned words. First ask whether the exact rule, API, field set, type, validation, timing point, component split, or failure states the fact better. Keep a term when it names the exact technical subject, including caller/callee contracts and security/process boundaries.

Comments describe non-obvious contracts or rationale that code cannot express; they do not restate what code already implies.

Inputs and exclusions

Require an explicit scope. If it is missing, report the required input and stop; do not infer a repository-wide scope or begin an interview.

Accept mode: automatic | interactive; default to automatic. Enter interactive mode only when the user explicitly requests questions or calibration.

mode controls questions, not write authority. Review and audit tasks report findings without editing; explicitly requested write, fix, or trim tasks apply clear changes.

Always exclude vendor/ from discovery, review, and edits, even when the requested scope is the whole repository. Do not follow a symlink into it. Put exclusions after inclusion globs so a later include cannot re-admit it: for example, end ripgrep commands with --glob '!vendor/**', and give Git commands an explicit :(exclude)vendor/** pathspec. If the requested scope contains only vendor/, report that no eligible files remain.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
