What is mediatek-kernel-expert?

A guide to MediaTek-specific changes in the Android kernel. It extends general knowledge of the Android Generic Kernel Image (GKI), the standard kernel model used across devices.

Use it when investigating MediaTek kernel paths or behavior that differs from the common Android GKI model.

It helps account for MediaTek differences that are not covered by the standard Android kernel structure. This reduces mistakes when locating or interpreting vendor-specific kernel code.
