apex-debug-log-export

apex-debug-log-export is a skill for Claude Code from jonathan-vella/apex-accelerator. It costs 57 tokens per session (309 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill that collects selected VS Code Copilot events into a local archive for inspection or manual upload. It requires an explicit workspace and session selection and does not upload files automatically.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for gathering debug logs, applying the available capture and redaction settings, and producing a manifest and archive for manual review.
Why use it?

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00057 $0.00309
Opus 5.5 $0.00023 $0.00124
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00011 $0.00062
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00031

Security

Grade A, and why

apex-debug-log-export scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Debug Log Export

Prerequisites

Require the selected built-in owner agent and model MAI-Code-1.1-Flash. This is not 11-Context Optimizer. Allowed operation tools are ask_user, execute, and read, intersected with the active owner's permissions. A skill does not bind agent/model/tools. STOP and request manual selection if any cannot be verified; do not widen tools or inherit a different model.

Procedure

Read apex-context-management, then follow the shared export procedure. Require native workspace/session identity and explicit session selection. Never infer scope from Local variables. Preserve capture options, redaction warning, manifest and archive output, and manual upload only. Do not delegate the export.

This manual skill replaces the archived Local adapter. Native discovery and export need actual acceptance tests; static checks do not prove runtime access. Do not enable experimental skill context forks to provide missing access.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
