Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00088 | $0.03144 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00044 | $0.01572 |

Grade A, and why
markdown-formatter scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 555 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Markdown Formatter
Overview
Transform any content—plain text, web clippings, AI-generated output, or messy markdown—into clean, well-structured markdown documents. This skill intelligently analyzes content structure and applies appropriate markdown syntax to enhance readability and organization.
When to Use This Skill
Use this skill when:
- User provides content and requests markdown formatting
- Plain text needs structure and markdown syntax
- Web content or copied text needs cleanup
- AI-generated content needs proper markdown formatting
- Poorly formatted markdown needs standardization
- Lists, tables, or code blocks need proper syntax
Trigger phrases:
- "Format this as markdown"
- "마크다운으로 정리해줘"
- "Clean up this text"
- "Convert to markdown"
- "Make this markdown"
Do NOT use this skill when:
- Content is already well-formatted markdown
- User wants to preserve exact original formatting
- Request is for specialized vault formats (use cmds-doc-formatter instead)
Workflow: 6-Step Markdown Transformation
Follow these steps in order to transform any content into clean markdown:
Step 1: Analyze Content Structure
Before applying any formatting, understand the content structure by identifying:
Hierarchical elements:
- Main title (will become H1)
- Major sections (will become H2)
- Subsections (will become H3-H6)
- Logical groupings and boundaries
Content types:
- Paragraphs and body text
- Lists (ordered/unordered/nested)
- Tabular or structured data
- Code snippets or technical content
- Quotes or callouts
- Emphasis patterns (bold/italic)
Action items:
- Read through entire content once
- Identify the main topic and major sections
- Note patterns that indicate structure (numbering, indentation, repetition)
- Look for content that should be tables, lists, or code blocks
- Identify relationships between sections
Step 2: Apply Heading Hierarchy
Create clear document structure with proper heading levels.
Heading rules:
- H1 (
#) - Document title (only ONE per document) - H2 (
##) - Major sections - H3 (
###) - Subsections under H2 - H4 (
####) - Detailed breakdowns - H5-H6 - Rarely needed, only for very deep nesting
What ships with it

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

markdown-formatter is a skill published in the GitHub repository joonlab/joonlab-claudecode-setting-for-share (10 stars, last pushed 29d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 88 tokens to every session and 3,144 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
