Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00098 | $0.01014 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00049 | $0.00507 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00020 | $0.00203 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00101 |
Grade A, and why
quickbase-formulas scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 64 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Quickbase formulas
Quickbase's formula language is strongly typed and not spreadsheet-like. Most "obvious"
guesses are wrong. Before writing or approving a formula, ground it in the authoritative,
source-cited reference in this repo's formulas/ folder — and always the load-bearing rules below.
The reference (open the file that fits the task)
- formulas/formula-language.md — syntax, types,
operators, nulls,
If()/Case(), date/duration arithmetic, field result types, compile errors, and testing viaPOST /v1/formula/run. - formulas/functions.md — the complete function catalog with signatures. If a function isn't in this file, assume it doesn't exist.
- formulas/rich-text-and-buttons.md — the allowed HTML subset for Formula – Rich Text fields, and Formula – URL action buttons.
Load-bearing rules (the ones people get wrong)
- Equality is a single
=(never==); not-equal is<>. Concatenate text with&.and/or/notare lowercase keywords. - Strongly typed, no silent coercion. Convert explicitly:
ToText,ToNumber,ToDate,ToFormattedText,ToDays,ToUser. A checkbox is Boolean — useIf([Box], …), not[Box] = true; to do math on it,ToNumber([Box]). - Dates have no literal form. Build them:
Today()(Date),Now()(Date/Time),ToDate("Jan 30, 2026"),Date(y,m,d). Add time with a Duration:[Start] + Days(7), never[Start] + 7. Months/years:AdjustMonth/AdjustYear. - Subtracting two dates yields a Duration, not a number. For a day count use
ToDays([End] - [Start])and put it in a Formula – Numeric field. If(c1,r1,c2,r2,…,default)returns the first true branch, and every branch (incl. default) must be the SAME type. Same forCase().- The field's result type is part of the contract. HTML renders only in a Formula – Rich Text field (a Text field shows the tags literally). A Numeric field's formula must return a Number, etc.
varvariables:var number Total = [Price] * [Qty];then reference with$Total. Each declaration ends in;. Names are letters only. Use//line comments (block/* */is not supported).- There is no
Power,Avg,Distance, or "ends-with" — use^,Average, manual haversine, and there is no ends-with. Check functions.md's name-corrections table before using a function you're unsure of.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

quickbase-formulas is a skill published in the GitHub repository josemsantiago/qb-ai-toolkit (0 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 98 tokens to every session and 1,014 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
