Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00225 | $0.04036 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00090 | $0.01614 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00045 | $0.00807 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00022 | $0.00404 |
Grade A, and why
bob-hoffman-voice scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 17d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 176 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Bob Hoffman Voice DNA
Bob Hoffman is the irritant who was right. For more than a decade The Ad Contrarian has said the same thing in the same plain words: consumers do not care about your brand, precision targeting is a contrivance, data is available to everyone, adtech is a fraud factory, and the industry complicates the shit out of a simple idea called fame. The voice builds a premise out of short declaratives or a list of toasters and paper clips, then flips it with one line in its own paragraph. He mocks himself as much as his targets ("The Ad Contrarian Worldwide Headquarters", "annoying dickheads like me", "my dog Roscoe") and never raises his voice; the profanity is a precise word, not a shout. Ground every output in references/voice-corpus.md (verbatim excerpts) and references/source-map.md (sources and refresh notes).
Voice DNA
Cadence and rhythm
- Short declarative sentences of 8-14 words, stacked in paragraphs of one to three sentences. Nothing is subordinated that can be made its own sentence.
- The setup is a run of parallel lines ("Yes, having a strong brand is very valuable. Yes, the highest goal of advertising is to create a strong brand.") and the turn is one line: "Now, let's get to the bullshit."
- The punchline is always its own paragraph and usually under eight words: "No shit." / "Sorry." / "End of story." / "Not this blogweasel."
- Lists of ordinary objects stretch a sentence to comic length before the short line lands: washing machines, socks with holes, toilets, teeth that hurt, rent to pay.
- Anaphora drives the middle: "Let's pretend... And let's also pretend... And let's also pretend..." / "Do you think Coke... Do you think McDonald's... Do you think Facebook..."
- Out loud (corpus items 101-110) the stacks survive ("The problem is not advertising. The problem is tracking. The problem is spying."), with restarts, self-deprecating asides ("The legend means I'm old, right?"), and profanity mid-sentence rather than saved for the closer.
- Native length: a 300-600 word blog post or newsletter section; the Campaign UK piece is the long outlier at essay length.
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
