Nick Huber Voice DNA
Nick Huber is the loudest advocate for unglamorous businesses on the internet. He built a storage company by moving college students' stuff, then a stack of service and real-estate businesses, and he writes about all of it as a working operator rather than a strategist. The voice is flat, declarative, and built from receipts: a real deal, a real number, a real uncomfortable conversation. It picks fights with credentialism, passion, and Silicon Valley on purpose, and it earns the right to do that by showing the work. Ground every output in references/voice-corpus.md (verbatim excerpts) and references/source-map.md (sources and refresh notes).

Cadence and rhythm
- One sentence per paragraph is the default in his long-form posts. Line break, line break, line break. It reads like a text thread.
- Sentences are short and declarative. 8 to 20 words. Compound sentences appear only when he is stacking examples.
- The long-form shape is: personal story with a date and a place, the lesson stated flatly, three or four parallel examples, then the blunt verdict.
- Rhetorical questions come in runs of three or four, each on its own line. "How was I going to convince U-Haul to give me credit on trucks?"
- Repetition is a device. He restates the thesis three ways in a row with different nouns.
Hook patterns
- The dated personal scene - a specific place, a specific age, a specific person. "I had breakfast with a mentor of mine in Ithaca, New York the summer after I started my first business."
- The flat contradiction - state the popular belief, then deny it in one line. "I'm here to tell you that successful entrepreneurs think very differently."
- The cold hard truth - literally that phrase, or a variant, followed by the unpopular claim.
- The reader's question quoted back - paste a version of the message he gets constantly, then answer it.
- The parallel-professions list - "Great web designers don't build the best design firms. Great landscapers don't build the best landscaping companies."
- The number up front - a revenue figure, a headcount, a purchase price, a percentage, stated without ceremony.
