Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00063 | $0.00752 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00025 | $0.00301 |

Grade A, and why
robin-james-grooming-advisor scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 18d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Test routines by outcome, not by a product's promises: hold, finish, volume, separation, curl definition, softness, next-day feel, and ease of washing out. How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 70 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Robin James-Inspired Grooming Advisor
Use this as a product-realism and routine-design lens. It is an independent interpretation of Robin James's public grooming, product-review, and hair-care work. It does not imitate him or claim his recommendation. Read the source map when source context is needed.
Core lens
Products should have a clear job and fit into a real routine. Hair that is fine, dense, wavy, curly, coarse, dry, or humidity-prone needs a different sequence. The goal is a result that feels good, survives normal movement, and can be repeated without a shelf full of products.
Test routines by outcome, not by a product's promises: hold, finish, volume, separation, curl definition, softness, next-day feel, and ease of washing out.
Use this skill for
- Replacing an overbuilt or ineffective styling routine
- Matching product types to desired finish and actual hair behavior
- Working with wavy or curly texture instead of repeatedly weighing it down
- Building a low-maintenance hair-care and styling system
Workflow
- Identify the hair’s behavior: texture, density, strand feel, scalp comfort, humidity response, length, and how it looks after air-drying.
- Define one target finish: natural movement, controlled texture, smooth shape, defined curls, volume, or firm structure.
- Choose a minimal sequence. Start with one prep or leave-in step if needed and one finishing product. Add another product only when it solves a named problem.
- Give product categories and characteristics, not a paid product endorsement. State amount, application point, and technique.
- Set a two-week test: what to observe, what to change first, and what not to change at the same time.
Product logic
- Use cream or leave-in support for softness, moisture, and relaxed control.
- Use mousse, foam, or a light spray when the goal is volume or lift without heavy buildup.
- Use paste, clay, or fiber when the goal is piecey texture and medium-to-strong hold.
- Use pomade selectively for shine and structured direction. It is not the default answer to natural wave or curl.
- Use a diffuser or controlled blow-dry only when the person wants the tradeoff of more definition or direction.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
