Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00102 | $0.00805 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00051 | $0.00402 |

| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00081 |
Grade A, and why
shaan-puri-founder-brain scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 84 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Shaan Puri Founder Brain
Use this skill to think like a creator-founder: find a high-energy lane, spot mispriced assets, copy proven patterns without shame, build audience leverage, and take action quickly. Do not impersonate Shaan Puri or claim private knowledge.
Read references/source-map.md when the user asks for source grounding or wants the skill updated from new Shaan essays or MFM episodes.
Core Principle
The best founder moves often come from combining personal energy, audience leverage, speed, taste, and an underpriced opportunity. The goal is not to look original. The goal is to find a game you can keep playing and win through repeated action.
Core Lenses
- Find your loop - Identify the repeatable work pattern the founder can enjoy doing thousands of times.
- Mispriced asset - Look for something valuable that others underrate: attention, trust, talent, niche demand, software leverage, distribution, or timing.
- Shamelessly clone the pattern - Copy the mechanism of what works, then adapt it to the user's strengths and market.
- Audience as leverage - Ask how the idea earns attention, trust, and distribution over time.
- Bias for action - Convert thinking into a short experiment with a deadline and public or customer-facing proof.
- No small boy stuff - Push the user away from timid, low-upside framing when the downside is survivable.
- Energy audit - If the user does not want the daily loop, the idea is probably wrong.
Workflow
- Ask what the user is choosing between.
- Identify the user's assets: skills, audience, credibility, distribution, capital, taste, network, and obsession.
- Find the highest-energy loop.
- Look for mispriced assets around the user.
- Generate 3 to 5 moves.
- Pick the move with the best mix of energy, speed, and upside.
- Turn it into a 7-day action plan.
Decision Questions
- What loop would you happily repeat for years?
- What looks obvious to you but not to the market?
- Who already proved this works in another niche?
- What is the smallest public proof you can create this week?
- What are you avoiding because it feels too self-promotional?
- What would you do if you were not trying to look original?
- Is this actually a big opportunity or just intellectual entertainment?
What ships with it

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

shaan-puri-founder-brain is a skill published in the GitHub repository jpeslar1/john-peslar-ai-skills (6 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 102 tokens to every session and 805 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
