mailnotmilk: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/mailnotmilk-bridge/SKILL.md

mailnotmilk-bridge is a skill for Claude Code from jrb00013/mailnotmilk. It costs 47 tokens per session (380 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

Instructions for a bridge that lets a browser-based AI chat communicate with a coding agent such as Claude Code, Cursor, or OpenCode. It uses shared chats and browser tools to pass messages between them.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create shared agent chats, forward messages from ChatGPT or DeepSeek to a coding agent, send replies back to the browser, and relay conversations through Chrome or Firefox.
Why use it?
It removes the need to copy and paste requests and replies between a web AI tab and a coding tool. It also specifies which connection and relay steps wake the other side correctly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00047 $0.00380
Opus 5.5 $0.00019 $0.00152
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00009 $0.00076
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00038

Measured 2mo ago against content hash 40732166e713, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

mailnotmilk-bridge scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

mailnotmilk bridge

Goal

Keep a web AI tab (GPT / DeepSeek / …) talking to a coding agent (Claude Code / Cursor / OpenCode).

Rules

  1. Raw post_message / send does not wake the other side.
  2. Prefer bridge_to_claude or create_chat + show pasteForPeer to the human.
  3. For live browser tabs use browser_* / relay_tick tools (Chrome or Firefox via Playwright).
  4. Coding agents: join_chat → chat_say / chat_history / check_inbox.

DeepSeek or GPT in the browser → Claude Code

  1. Ensure hub is up: mailnotmilk hub
  2. browser_connect (chrome or firefox) then browser_open_ai for the site
  3. browser_extract_messages to read the web AI thread
  4. bridge_to_claude or chat_say to forward into Claude
  5. When Claude replies, browser_send_message posts back into the web UI
  6. Or run one-shot: relay_tick / CLI mailnotmilk relay --site deepseek

Coding agent → browser AI

  1. Claude/Cursor drafts reply in mailnotmilk chat
  2. browser_send_message injects it into the open web chat
  3. Poll with browser_extract_messages until a new assistant turn appears
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
