everything-react-native-expo: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/erne-quality-gate/SKILL.md

erne-quality-gate is a skill for Claude Code from JubaKitiashvili/everything-react-native-expo. It costs 23 tokens per session (470 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A pre-merge checking skill for React Native and Expo code. It runs code review and performance checks in parallel before changes are merged into the project.

In plain words
What is it for?
Checking TypeScript safety, error handling, project conventions, secrets, input validation, test coverage, bundle impact, unnecessary re-renders, image caching, and animation performance.
Why use it?
It helps catch correctness, security, testing, bundle-size, rendering, image, list, and animation problems before code is accepted.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00023 $0.00470
Opus 5 $0.00012 $0.00235
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00094
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00047

Security

Grade A, and why

erne-quality-gate scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/erne-quality-gate — Pre-Merge Checks

You are executing the /erne-quality-gate command. Run code-reviewer and performance-profiler in parallel for comprehensive pre-merge validation.

Parallel Execution

Agent 1: code-reviewer — Code Quality

Run a full code review focused on merge readiness:

Correctness:

  • Logic errors, edge cases
  • TypeScript type safety (no any escapes)
  • Error handling completeness

Style & Conventions:

  • Follows project rules (check .claude/rules/)
  • NativeWind usage is consistent
  • Component structure matches patterns

Security:

  • No secrets in code
  • Input validation at boundaries
  • Secure storage used for sensitive data

Testing:

  • All new code has tests
  • Tests actually test behavior (not implementation)
  • Edge cases covered

Agent 2: performance-profiler — Performance Checks

Run performance validation:

Bundle Impact:

# Compare bundle size before/after changes
npx react-native-bundle-visualizer

Runtime Checks:

  • No unnecessary re-renders introduced
  • Lists use FlashList with estimatedItemSize
  • Images are optimized (expo-image with caching)
  • Animations run on UI thread (worklets)

Memory:

  • Event listeners and subscriptions cleaned up
  • No circular references in state
  • Large data sets paginated

Gate Result

## Quality Gate Result: PASS / FAIL

### Code Review: PASS
- 0 Critical issues
- 1 Warning (TODO in checkout.tsx:45)
- 3 Suggestions

### Performance: PASS
- Bundle size: +12KB (within threshold)
- No new re-render issues detected
- Memory: No leaks detected

### Verdict: PASS ✓
Ready for merge. Address 1 warning in next iteration.

The gate produces a binary PASS/FAIL. FAIL if:

  • Any critical code review issue
  • Bundle size increase > 50KB without justification
  • Performance regression detected
  • Missing tests for new code paths
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
