Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00061 | $0.01938 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00030 | $0.00969 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00012 | $0.00388 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00194 |
Grade A, and why
mcp-builder scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
This is a copy
100% identical to mcp-builder — 0 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 237 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
MCP Server Development Guide
Overview
Create MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that enable LLMs to interact with external services through well-designed tools. The quality of an MCP server is measured by how well it enables LLMs to accomplish real-world tasks.
Process
🚀 High-Level Workflow
Creating a high-quality MCP server involves four main phases:
Phase 1: Deep Research and Planning
1.1 Understand Modern MCP Design
API Coverage vs. Workflow Tools: Balance comprehensive API endpoint coverage with specialized workflow tools. Workflow tools can be more convenient for specific tasks, while comprehensive coverage gives agents flexibility to compose operations. Performance varies by client—some clients benefit from code execution that combines basic tools, while others work better with higher-level workflows. When uncertain, prioritize comprehensive API coverage.
Tool Naming and Discoverability:
Clear, descriptive tool names help agents find the right tools quickly. Use consistent prefixes (e.g., github_create_issue, github_list_repos) and action-oriented naming.
Context Management: Agents benefit from concise tool descriptions and the ability to filter/paginate results. Design tools that return focused, relevant data. Some clients support code execution which can help agents filter and process data efficiently.
Actionable Error Messages: Error messages should guide agents toward solutions with specific suggestions and next steps.
1.2 Study MCP Protocol Documentation
Navigate the MCP specification:
Start with the sitemap to find relevant pages: https://modelcontextprotocol.io/sitemap.xml
Then fetch specific pages with .md suffix for markdown format (e.g., https://modelcontextprotocol.io/specification/draft.md).
Key pages to review:
- Specification overview and architecture
- Transport mechanisms (streamable HTTP, stdio)
- Tool, resource, and prompt definitions
1.3 Study Framework Documentation
What ships with it
9 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mcp-builder is a skill published in the GitHub repository JustMichael-80/MasterVault (12 stars, last pushed 24d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 61 tokens to every session and 1,938 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. It is 100% identical to mcp-builder, differing in 0 lines, and is treated as a copy.

memorb-conventions
Base layer conventions for the memOrb vault: path resolution, folder structure, naming rules, YAML frontmatter schema, orb layouts. Prerequisite for every write skill. Triggers: path, folder structure, naming, frontmatter, schema, 路徑, 資料夾結構, 命名, 模板, frontmatter, schema.
dream-studio
The dream studio: once a month, use the Memory Commit Journal in memorbs/log.md to select source orbs, find recurring themes, propose new Core orbs and new or revised Belief orbs, refresh the current-state narrative on each Island, and finally rotate the journal. Sole executor of Evaluate, the last step of the…
island-reclamation
The full procedure for adding an Island (a domain of long-term responsibility or interest): first agree with the user on what the Island is and at what level to name it, then pick a folder structure, then get the first batch of files confirmed — and only then create anything, finishing with a memory-layer sync.…
memorb-lint
Wiki Lint workflow: a health check over the memory vault that surfaces contradictions, stale pages, orphans, missing pages, broken wikilinks, and bare internal paths. Offer to run it before dream-studio or after manual moves/renames. Triggers: tidy up memory, check the second brain, health check, fix links, moved…
writing-memorb-skills
Meta skill for adding or changing any sub-skill in this vault. Governs naming, frontmatter, structure, the registration checklist, and testing. Triggers: add a skill, write a skill, modify a skill, turn this into a skill, we keep doing this by hand, 新增 skill, 寫一個 skill, 修改 skill, 固化流程, 這個流程以後常做.
memorb-domain-query
Use when querying companies, employees, or contacts by email address, domain name, or company name, or when integrating Outlook/M365 email collection and company email status checks.
