review-pr

review-pr is a skill for Claude Code from justnau1020/claude-os. It costs 38 tokens per session (395 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A pull-request reviewer for proposed code changes. A pull request is a set of changes submitted for review before they are merged into the main codebase.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect a pull request’s description, changed files, and code diff, then review correctness, error handling, typing, test coverage, authorization, input validation, and exposed secrets.
Why use it?
It gives you a structured check for logic errors, project conventions, missing tests, and common security problems before merging.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00038 $0.00395
Opus 5 $0.00019 $0.00198
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00079
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00040

Measured 11d ago against content hash b962dc4b72c5, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

review-pr scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Review Pull Request

Review PR #$ARGUMENTS for correctness and convention compliance.

PR Context

  • PR diff: !gh pr diff $ARGUMENTS 2>/dev/null || echo "Could not fetch PR diff"
  • PR description: !gh pr view $ARGUMENTS 2>/dev/null || echo "Could not fetch PR"
  • Changed files: !gh pr diff $ARGUMENTS --name-only 2>/dev/null || echo "Could not list files"

Review Checklist

For each changed file, verify:

Correctness

  • Does the code do what the PR description claims?
  • Are there any logic errors or edge cases missed?
  • Are error paths handled properly?

Conventions

  • Are datetimes handled consistently (UTC internally)?
  • Are error messages specific and actionable?
  • Is async used properly (no sync I/O in async paths)?
  • Are type hints present on all new functions?
  • Are typed models used for data structures (not raw dicts)?

Tests

  • Are new features covered by tests?
  • Are edge cases tested?
  • Are external APIs mocked (no real network calls)?

Security

  • Are authorization checks enforced on new endpoints?
  • Are there any secrets or API keys in the diff?
  • Is input validation present?

Output

Provide a structured review:

  1. Summary: One-line assessment (approve/request changes)
  2. Issues: Specific problems with file paths and line numbers
  3. Suggestions: Optional improvements (clearly marked as non-blocking)
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
