Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00095 | $0.02196 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00038 | $0.00878 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00019 | $0.00439 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00220 |
Grade A, and why
azure-query scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 87 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Azure query
The azure-query MCP server gives you read-only access to Azure Log Analytics (including Microsoft Sentinel data) and Azure Resource Graph (ARG), under the signed-in user's own Azure RBAC. Nothing you run can change Azure, but results can contain sensitive security and personal data.
Some clients show the tools with a prefix, for example mcp__azure-query__query_workspace, or mcp__plugin_azure-query_azure-query__query_workspace when the Claude Code plugin installed them. If none of the tools below are available, the server is not connected: tell the user to add it (Claude Code: /plugin install azure-query --marketplace kapetanios55/azure-query-mcp, other clients in the project README) and to sign in with az login --tenant <tenant-id>. Do not run those commands for them without asking.
Pick the tool
| Question is about | Tool | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Logs, events, telemetry, time series in a workspace | query_workspace |
Your own KQL. Rules below. |
| Resource inventory, configuration, tags, RBAC, policy, changes | query_azure_resources |
ARG KQL over explicit subscriptions. |
| Which workspaces exist | list_workspaces |
Returns both workspace IDs (see Identifiers). |
| Which tables a workspace has, and their columns | search_tables, describe_table |
Check before writing KQL against an unfamiliar table. |
| Sentinel incidents | list_incidents, then get_incident |
get_incident returns pivotEntities for entity_timeline. |
| Everything one account, IP or host did | entity_timeline |
Sign-in, audit, Office, endpoint, firewall and alert tables in one call. |
| Is security data still arriving | check_ingestion_health |
Stale tables, volume drops and spikes, ingestion latency. |
| Known attack patterns | list_hunting_queries, then run_hunting_query |
Built-in hunts mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, plus the user's own. |
Prefer the purpose-built tools over hand-written KQL: they handle schema differences, missing tables and input validation for you. Workflows for incident triage, entity investigation, ingestion health and hunting are in references/soc-workflows.md.
What ships with it
3 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

azure-query is a skill published in the GitHub repository kapetanios55/azure-query-mcp (2 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 95 tokens to every session and 2,196 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-29.
