A paper-download workflow that finds a PDF from a DOI, a permanent identifier for a research paper, or resolves a paper title to its DOI first. It checks research sources such as arXiv, bioRxiv, and PubMed Central, which host or archive scientific papers.

It is for finding and downloading research-paper PDFs from DOIs or titles. It can search Unpaywall, arXiv, bioRxiv or medRxiv, PubMed Central, Semantic Scholar, and fallback mirrors.

It reduces the need to search several research repositories manually when a paper is hard to locate. It also provides a last-resort fallback through Sci-Hub mirrors.
